Licensed Practical Nurse

Pride Health is hiring a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to support our client at a medical facility in Bellingham, WA. This is a 12-week contract with the possibility of an extension, providing a great opportunity to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization.

Specific Duties:

1. Direct the patient to the proper exam/treatment area and prepare the patient for examinations and other procedures. Assists in the transportation of patients and patient flow.

2. Obtains records and reports vital signs and any other pertinent patient information to the RN or clinician

3. Administers medication, performs various patient tests, and instructs patients on procedural preparation under the supervision of the clinician or RN.

4. Notifies pharmacies of new prescriptions and authorization of new refills as ordered by the clinician

5. Collects, labels, and transports various specimens to appropriate destinations

6. Maintains logs, records of medical procedures, and inventories of supplies

7. Performs telephone screening

8. Performs additional duties as assigned.

Must have Skills/Qualifications/Education / Work Experience:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Washington State Practical Nursing License.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers (AHA) or CPR/AEDD for the Professional Rescue (American Red Cross).
• 1+ years of experience working as an LVN/LPN.
• EPIC experience.

Job Duration: 12 weeks

Shifts: Monday-Friday, Day Shift (4x10)

Hourly Pay: - $31 - $33/hour
